Xmas gifts at mother-in-law for the last time.
Adults only have to give one gift to one other person.
For the 2nd year in a row I got a gift voucher. People had 1 year to think about what to buy.
My brother-in-law got me voucher for bunnings....
I'll stick to my promise, and wont return here xmas day next year.

Always bbq lunch on xmas day in australia. Haven't heard of any aussie people who don't.

very few candle lights on xmas trees in Australia

In Australia not many has real candle lights on their xmas tree. It's a pity as it's so pretty.
Probably one problem is the candles are not for sale in the shops, nor is the candles holders. Why this is, I can only guess; fear or is there a law against it?
